AutoZone, a Fortune 500 company headquartered in dowtown Memphis, has an immediate opening for a Corporate Security Officer. This individual will be responsible for the security of facility, company employees, visitors and assets. Responds to alarms, medical emergencies, and acts as an ambassador to our visitors and patrols the parking lots located on and off site. Manages the SSC security/information desk to include monitoring the radio and dispatching, greeting vendors and preparing nametags for visitors. Guards are also first responders to all emergencies, which could include verifying alarms in various locations in the facility. Responsible for checking the off-site parking lot locations for violators and preventing vehicle thefts.

Requirements |
A high school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.), may include specialized or vocational courses in military, security or criminal justice. Experience in customer service with knowledge of the criminal justice process and State security guard certifications required. Knowledge of card access systems, understanding of the corporate environment, and working knowledge of Lotus Notes, Microsoft Word and Excel preferred. Job requires climbing stairs, stooping, carrying items of 40 pounds or less, lifting and could involve self-defense during a physical confrontation requiring some physical exertion
